Rosemaling Classes

Rosemaling classes are taught twice per year by Marley Wright-Smith, California Assoc of Rosemalers who lives in San Lorenzo. Her classes are filled at 15 and can accommodate all levels of experience rosemaling. Beginners are welcome.
One project is introduced and completed in the one-day class.
The projects completed include: two rosemaled plates, picture frame, tray, basket, peg rack, troll Christmas plate and more. Rosemaling is the Norwegian folk art painted with flowing flower like designs. There are various styles of Rosemaling designs representing various provinces of Norway. These represent the unique styles developed in the various parts of the country.
